Netflix acknowledges Tiktok as one of its main global competitors.

Over time, Netflix's idea of its competition has expanded to include pretty much anything that takes place on screens.

And in a recent update from Bloomberg, Netflix Inc. is rolling out a TikTok-like feature aimed at kids, its latest bid to attract younger viewers to its platform and help them discover programming.

The "Kids Clips" feature uses an awesome interface similar to TikTok and Instagram Reels in an attempt to stream child-friendly content. But unlike other competing services, Kids Clips' videos are designed to be viewed in landscape which could be a game changer.

Netflix will add new clips every day based on the current shows and movies available on the platform,

Netflix still refers Kids Clips as a "test," Bloomberg said, and it is yet to be available to all its users..

For now, it's rolling out in select markets, including

  • Ireland
  • Australia
  • Canada
  • USA
  • Greater Latin America countries.
